The Porsche Golf Cup tournament series is one of the most traditional series in the world, established in 1988 for Porsche customers with two passions in mind, Porsche cars and Golf.
On Friday 5 May 2023 it was Porsche Centre Wolverhampton's turn to take part in their round of this years Cup. The Astbury Hall Golf and Lodge Resort near Bridgnorth provided a stunning back drop for this years event. The all new Porsche Taycan took pride of place around the grounds giving members a chance to explore the car.
Breakfast was served in the Tippee overlooking the beautful Shropshire countryside and as the first players tee'd off the sun broke through the clouds. Halfway refreshments were provided in the 'Potting Shed' all locally sourced and made cakes and pastries. Sadly a few of the players were caught in one or two sharp showers however that did not dampen their spirits and by end of play the feedback was excellent.
The day culminated with a Barbecue and prize giving. Two of our players will now go through to the next round of the tournament to be held at The Grove in Hertford later in the year.
*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
