2023 is a big year for the Porsche 911, the iconic sportscar is 60 years old this year and to recognise this milestone we held the first of our Summer 'Carrera Coffee Cup' meetings at Caffeine and Machine in Warwickshire on Friday 21 July.
Introduced to the world at the Frankfurt Motorshow in 1963, no one could have predicted the impact the Porsche 911 would have on the motoring industry both then and now. The 911 fits all lifetstyles, Ferry Porsche famously said 'the 911 is the only car that you drive from an African safari to Le Mans, then to the theatre and onto the streets of New York.' Sixty years on and eight generations later the car is still groundbreaking with the 2023 Porsche 911 (992) with its 650PS, 3.7 litre engine, the car can reach 100km/h from standstill in just 2.7 seconds making it the fastest production 911 ever made.
We were overwhelmed by the attendance of both our customers and enthusiats alike who kindly brought along some beautiful examples of the Porsche 911 from across the decades. This was the perfect opportunity to bring the Porsche community together to celebrate 60 years of the Porsche 911. We are hoping to host another summer meeting at the venue so please keep an eye on our social pages to secure your tickets.

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
